A renovation design for a 70s bungalow in two phases. Phase one concerns a new layout/plan for the ground floor. The emphasis is on a new kitchen with utility room and a spacious ensuite bathroom. The attached garage is “perforated” through which this part becomes a semi outdoor space (so-called garden abri) that connects to the future vegetable garden. The front part of the garage becomes a bicycle storage with an extra entrance to the house. The finish/material choices are based on the preservation of and contrast with some 70s elements such as the hardwood window- and door frames and travertine floors.
